Split decisions...
Since Nate and Drew have preschool in the afternoons, Will and I have 2 hours free to spend together. Sometimes we do something fun (yesterday I took he and a buddy to the Children's museum). Two days ago, however, we had to do something terrible. Prepare yourself for this news: we had to run some errands at the MALL!!! Talk about little boy torture! :-) As I was breaking the news of our afternoon plan to Will, I thought I would try to sweeten the deal by telling him that if he was well-behaved that I would take him on the merry-go-round. He remembered that there were some other ride-on type toys at the mall as well. I told him that he could choose whether he wanted to go on those rides or the merry-go-round. He sighed and said,"It's such a hard cedision." He repeated it several times, realizing that it didn't sound quite right, but not realizing why. Finally I said, "decision" and he said, "yeah, I have a hard time with that word". He is so cute!!!

Sweet & Sour Prayers
Today before breakfast, Matt was reprimanded for something or other (very minor, not a big deal at all). A few minutes later, we all sat down to eat, and Will was asked to give the prayer. It went something like this:
"Dear Heavenly Father, please bless Matt that he can stop being naughty. Please bless him to remember to make good choices and to listen to mommy and daddy. Please bless the food. Amen."
I had the hardest time not laughing! Sly is the 2nd oldest child in finding ways to get at his older brother! :-)

Dogs at Preschool?
This happened several months ago, but I thought it was too cute!
So, last week, Will is getting his stuff together for preschool. I remind him that it's show and tell day and this week he is to bring either a toy animal or a picture of an animal. William says, "any kind of animal?" I tell him, "yes". He says, hopefully, "can I bring Aspen?" I tell him, "No, you can't bring Aspen." Before I can say anything else he says, "Oh, yeah.........., Aspen couldn't fit in my cubby." :-) I thought it was too cute!

Wacky William
This is a spot to record all sorts of stuff about William! He was born July 25, 2001. Just for the record, 'Wacky' was not my first choice of blog name! WonderfulWilliam and WackyWilliam were already taken, although I believe that Wonderful and Wild are both better descriptive words for my little red-headed wonder!
